Back Office

Introduction

What is a Back Office?

The term Back Office usually refers to the part of an operation that is responsible for internal and administrative functions that support the Front Office process. A few Back Office examples can be a kitchen in a restaurant or a warehouse in a supermarket.

How does it fit into our ecosystem?

If Oryon Constellation is our Front Office, then a Back Office needs to exist to support it.

It is called, for a lack of a more creative name, Oryon Backoffice and, like Constellation, it has 3 isolated environments: Local, Development and Production.
